Kanneliya Rain Forest is a must visit place if you are staying in South Coast. Visit one of the world’s 21 Biodiversity Hotspots at Kanneliya Rainforest. Kanneliya is regarded as one of the most biologically diverse areas in Sri Lanka and was designated as a biosphere reserve by UNESCO. Kanneliya harbors many plants and animals endemic to Sri Lanka. you will see monkeys, snakes, chameleons, birdlife and a vast range of tropical trees, plants and beautiful waterfalls.
you will be picked up by your private chaffer guide and transfer to kanneliya. Your wildlife tracker will walk you through the forest and he will expain very well about wildlife of Forest along the way. We have designed trekking in Forest from 2 to 4 Hours.
After that we will reach to Galle and visit Galle Fort. The Dutch Fort in Galle is a UNESCO World Heritage site and is the largest remaining fortress in Asia built by European occupiers. You will have a nice walk through this heritage site. It takes about two hours to walk around the whole fort. When We come back to hotel, we will visit Turtle hatchery and Tea Factory. At the end of the Tour we will drop you at your Hotel.
